But aside from that and me not being able to find parking if I get home past 5pm is whatever
|Recommended: YesGreat Place to Live — Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Grounds are always clean. Neighbors are friendly and I feel safe here. I put in a maintenance request and it was fixed the next day I enjoy quiet hours as well. Overall, I very much enjoy living here
|Recommended: YesGood experience overall — Living at Newbridge is, for the most part, very comfortable and nice. The grounds are maintained well and the maintenance workers are extremely fast in dealing with issues that may arise. The quality of the apartments is very good for the price and the layouts are nice. There are a couple of issues, however, such as the ability to hear noise levels of the neighbors. Generally, this is walking, shutting drawers and cabinets, etc., however, from time to time, especially in regards to those upstairs, full conversations can be heard, as well as televisions, music, children and pets playing and running, sexual activity, etc., which can be a bit of a distraction, especially late at night when everyone is trying to sleep. The office has made attempts to be helpful on this matter, however, they have stated that without catching the offending tenants in the act, no action can be taken, which is an issue. How can one get in contact with the office or get the courtesy officer upstairs fast enough to catch them in the act at 3AM in the middle of the week Another issue is that of surveillance and cameras on the property. While the office and clubhouse are well-lit and have ample cameras present, the buildings for tenants themselves have none on the outside, which I feel is a security issue, especially given recent events of suspicious activity and theft. I feel that the tenants paying to live here should also have peace of mind knowing that their vehicles and belongings are at least somewhat safe sitting on the property at night through cameras being present, and not just the complex's gym, office, clubhouse, and pool areas. Parking also is an ever-present issue. I do not feel that the grounds provide nearly enough parking for the number of apartments present and it is a major inconvenience to have to park on the opposite end of the complex and walk a long distance with groceries, household goods, or with an injury, because all of the spaces near the building one lives in are full - sometimes with multiple out-of-state vehicles which do not appear to be actual tenants, but visitors. I feel that assigned parking at least as many spaces per unit as there are bedrooms is needed and a designated area for visitors should be provided. Aside from these three issues, the rest of the Newbridge experience is very comfortable and well-done. I haven't - to date - had any issue that the office was not there to listen to and try to provide some sort of help on. Even with difficult issues such as the aforementioned noise complaint , they have tried to work with us to resolve the issue, as difficult as it was. They are also on the ball about emails and calls when issues may arise such as letting us know of a leak above us and making sure our unit was okay , which is very helpful.
